WVCA QUICK REFERENCE AND TOUR GUIDE
Club Meetings: Membership meeting are on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM.
Meeting Place: Second floor meeting room at Capital Chevrolet – which is located at 2855 Maple Avenue NE, Salem, Oregon, 97301.
Club Jackets: Kustom Kreations of Oregon (phone: 503-981-4046) (email: thad@driftcreekoutdoors.com) which is located at 2710 National Way, in Woodburn has a computer program for stitching our emblem onto the back of a jacket. “Port Authority” makes a jacket termed “The Legacy” Style #J764 which is available from Kustom Kreations for $58.18. Stitching of the WVCA emblem costs $28.25. Stitching your name on the left front will cost a few dollars. These prices were quoted by Martin – the manager of Kustom Kreations on 11/17/2016, and could change. Members are responsible for purchasing their jacket, WVCA emblem and name stitching. Jackets can be any color or by any maker. Available colors of Port Authority “Legacy” #J764 jackets are: Black/Steel Grey trim, Dark Navy/Red trim, Hunter/Dark Navy trim, Khaki/Nutmeg trim, Millennium Blue/ Dark Navy trim, Red/Dark Navy trim, Stone/Dark Navy trim.
Previous club jackets and club logos are also official jackets.

Walery’s Pizza: Members usually meet at Walery’s Pizza after club meetings. It is located at 1555 Edgewater St NW, Salem, OR 97304, (503)362-6858. Dave Walery gives club members a discount on pizza and salads. Walery’s is the site of the club’s trophy case and pictures of WVCA members and their cars. Contact Lee Hart at leesallyhart@comcast.net to arrange posting of a photo of you with your Corvette or your Corvette alone on the wall at Walery’s.
Event and Tour Participation Guide:
Contact the host if you need to cancel your attendance to an event or tour.
Contact the host if you want to attend and didn’t sign up earlier.
Fuel your car before arriving at the departure location of a tour or caravan start place.
Bring your Family Radio Service (FRS) communicator on club tours.
(Use Channel 6, Code 6)
Arrive a few minutes early at the assembly place of the tour or event.
Turn on your parking lights during a parade and/or tour.
Obey all driving regulations and rules of the road.
Travel will be in the right hand lane except when passing is necessary.
Change lanes with caution.
Leave enough room between cars to allow faster traffic to move through the tour group.
Air space should be no less than 4 seconds above 30 miles per hour. (Oregon law)
Try to keep the car in front of you in sight.
Try to keep the car behind you in sight.
Do not drive off and leave the car that follows you.
Use emergency flashers, and pull off the road if you have trouble. Radio the tour leader.
Members driving behind you will assist.
Don’t pass other Corvettes on a tour.
Don’t drive in an irresponsible manner.
Tin cars are welcome but must travel at the rear of the convoy.
